Attila Hajdu

I graduated from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Szeged, majoring in History and American Studies between 1997-2002. Between 2000-2004, I completed my studies at the Department of Religious Education of the Debrecen Reformed Academy of Religious Studies. Here I wrote my thesis on the processing of the history of the Reformed parish in Újszeged.

Between 2000 and 2001, I was an active visitor to the Reformed Parish in Újszeged.

In 2001, during a trip to America, I became more thoroughly acquainted with Christian Reconstructionism, mainly listening to the lectures of Greg L. Bahnsen. This started me in the direction of realizing that it would also be important in Hungary for God's Law to form the foundation of individual, family, state and church life. Only this can lead to true and biblical reformation.

In 2007, I contacted the leaders of CREC in Poland and, at their request, the organization of the Hungarian mission began. From September 2008, with the approval of the Polish Reformed Evangelical Church, which supervises the mission of CREC in Hungary, the preaching of the word and the administration of sacraments began in the Hungarian Reformed Evangelical Church.

As a result of my several years of preparation, in 2010 I successfully passed the ordination exam before the Ordination Examination Committee of the CREC Anselm Parish Council, and in November 2010 I was installed as a pastor.

Since September 2021, the church has been particularized and is independently represented in the CREC Hus (European) church district.

I live in Diósdon with my wife Kati and my five children.
