Steve Jeffery

Pastor Steve Jeffery moved to All Saints in December 2020. He previously served as Minister at Emmanuel Church in London, England, from its founding in 2009. He co-authored Pierced for Our Transgressions (2007), a defense of the doctrine of penal substitutionary atonement, and The Cross (2012), an introduction to the message of the cross. While serving as a Minister in London, he was also a volunteer Chaplain to the Metropolitan Police in London, England. He has lectured and debated in a variety of settings including universities and conferences in the UK, Europe, and America, and has appeared on Premier Christian Radio and BBC Radio 4.

Steve serves on the board of the CREC Domestic Church Planting Network, and is a board and faculty member at the Reformed Evangelical Seminary.

Steve has been married to Nicole since sometime last century, and they have three adult children – Ben, Becki, and Abi. Truth be told, it took them a while to get to Texas, and somehow they picked up a quirky accent along the way. But they’re very glad indeed to be here.

Before he became a Pastor, Steve used to be a scientist, and has a doctorate in physics from Oxford University. In his spare time you’ll normally find him listening to jazz, playing chess, drinking coffee (in the morning), sipping scotch whisky (in the evening), or making things out of wood.
